I would explain some wonderful things about the holy spirit, but you would need a genuine interest in the subject to actually believe it, we know you all just like playing around, this old hat for you pros.

Given that I used to consider myself a reborn Christian and never felt the Holy Spirit,

Maybe the reason you never experienced the Holy Spirit is this, you considered yourself a christian and maybe God did not, just sayin.

I said those things because I'm tired of people turning around what I say when they (you) know what I mean, this is what a child would do. So it's not me that needs to grow up, however many here do.

Growing up means giving up childhood fantasies, GC. You ready to let go of your make-believe friend and step over into maturity? When you are, let us know. Until then, the growing is all on you.

People who give up all the things from their childhood are not grown up, they're boring.

The Bible can not truly be understood without the revelation of the Holy Spirit. That's why so many have trouble with the scriptures, they either read and get only a surface meaning from them,or the bring their own preconceived ideas into the reading of scripture and make those ideas fit the scriptures. Properly read one will allow the Holy Spirit to open up the word of God's truth and apply it to one's life. To many would rather make the scriptures fit their ideas and lifestyle.
