No, these are like parrots. In Turkish it's name is "muhabbet kuşu". I'll google the name and find it's english equivalent for you.
Budgerigar. A weird name, really, it has nothing to do with the name we have for them.
I had three of them. One we gave away, one became too fat, and died from eating too much, another one I gave to some vietnamese child in Germany.
