Isn't that an extremely common dog breed in the Midwest though? And if you overbreed them, they get weird disorders.
I had a pure bred rottweiler once. She was part of the pack with two mutts. Only reason she was in the pound was because she was overbred and had too many toes. And a perpetually placid expression to go with her extremely chill personality.
Loved those dogs.
Rotties are great, they should have a personality that seems laid back, they were a working dog doing heavy work on farms ect. Thus they were herders, movers of heavy loads and guards and caretakers so to speak. Rotties are one of the most intelligent of all breeds. Rotts are not as popular as they were, this is fine with me, it keeps more of the breeding with the professionals. I've actually had people to say, I wish my kids would mind as well as your Rotts do. My thought training is a must. By the way the extra toe was probably not from over breeding, something that just happened.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
