I am very sorry to hear about your insurance, but I think you should be able to work something out with the actual hospital. Some schools offer free counseling to students and discounted counseling to people who don't attend. If you google around in your area you might be able to find discounted mental health clinics if you are low income. I don't know about your area. You don't need to go to the hospital either, unless you are actively suicidal.
I'm not sure how many kinds of medicine you have tried: I am sure you know that if one type of medicine doesn't work you try another. But yes, it does take years sometimes if you are that sick. You shouldn't give up hope though. It won't be until you die. Depression is very common, and people get through it all the time. You'll be OK too, but the sooner the better.
I am not sure how your relationships with your friends or family are, but if you need someone to talk to you can PM me. Posting like this is just going to get you more abuse I'm afraid.

Mary Immaculate, star of the morning
Chosen before the creation began
Chosen to bring for your bridal adorning
Woe to the serpent and rescue to man.
Sinners, we honor your sinless perfection;
Fallen and weak, for your pity we plead;
Grand us the shield of your sovereign protection,
Measure your aid by the depth of our need.
Bend from your throne at the voice of our crying,
Bend to this earth which your footsteps have trod;
Stretch out your arms to us, living and dying,
Mary Immaculate, Mother of God.
