Mainstream Christianity has people choosing their own state of union with God.
No, against the rules, not any, one will be free to hate God as much as one's miserable life can stand.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
