Thor Wrote:And Muhammad rode a winged horse up to heaven. It's the 21st century and we still have mind numbed people insisting that mythology is true.
To use your favorite quote, prove your statement.
Gc Wrote:God will ultimately destroy him
Thor Wrote:Well, what the fuck is he waiting for? People like you have been promising this for thousands of years! I hope you realize your credibility is kind of shot.
No one has or can promise anything God has ordained, it will happen in His perfect timing.
Gc Wrote:, it was not God's will that Lucifer fall, it was Lucifer's will that caused him to fall, if Lucifer had done God's will none of this would have happened.
Thor Wrote:But wasn't this all part of "God's plan"? Because no matter how horrible something is, believers are quick to trumpet that "everything happens for a reason" and "it's part of God's plan".
No, it was not part of God's plan, God's plan was implemented after Lucifer fell. God never wanted Lucifer to fall, Lucifer chose to, tell me why is this so hard for you to understand.
Gc Wrote:You want to blame God for the way things turned out,
Thor Wrote:Isn't this god the one who has unlimited power and omniscience? Which means he KNEW what would happen and he did nothing to stop it. So, yeah, I can blame him.
You don't even believe in Him, yet you say you can blame Him, and you call me deluded, now that is what I see as funny. Yes, He knew what would happen, I do not need you to tell me this, I use it in my arguments all the time. Because God knew it would happen does not mean that was what He desired it to be, God knew if His creation was to be this is the way it would turn out, His love for man prevailed and thus He created.
Gc Wrote:it's Lucifer that you should blame.
Thor Wrote:Actually, I don't blame imaginary beings for anything. That would be like blaming Santa Claus because I didn't get what I wanted for Christmas.
In your previous statement you said, you blamed God, now you say you do not blame imaginary beings, does this mean you do believe in God , but not Lucifer, interesting to say the least.
Gc Wrote:It's funny in a way and pitiful in others, atheist call christians stupid and deluded,
Thor Wrote:Oh, I wouldn't necessarily say you're stupid....
If my recall is correct you have, if not I apologize.
Gc Wrote:yet we are the ones that are intelligent enough to know who to blame.
Thor Wrote:And who should we blame?
The answer is below v.
Gc Wrote:Ourselves for falling to the great deceiver, the father of lies, Lucifer.
Thor Wrote:Sorry, never met the guy.
You may not have, but you have met his minions, even though you may have never realized it. Through them you have encountered his deceitful influence and like all of us fell to it, so in the end we are to blame, as I said above.^
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
