Two statements that stand out here DLF. In some cases it may be 'fair' to give preference to 'non whites'.. for example where there is shown to be an unfair & unequal balance in a workforce favoring one race over another that is discriminatory.
All humans should be treated with dignity. Otherwise our society has no standards.
No...you are wrong. Do you know what affirmative action is? It means that a black man and a white man can put in for the same position. The white man may have more education and a better understanding of the position. Yet if that company has not hired enough non whites then that black man gets the job. It's unconstitutional and if I were black I'd be offended at even suggesting I deserve more rights than someone else based on my skin color. That's racism in it's own way. This was a discussion we had in a psychology class I took. Not one student in that class thought affirmative action was justified and even the non whites said they disagreed with it.
Terrorsts deserve nothing but torture until they are killed for their actions. If they are willing to blow up my child or my mother for their stupid god then they don't deserve to breathe the same air we breathe. I'd say put them on trial and then hang them so taxpayers don't have to pay for their food.
