On Friday night Nik Wallenda walked over Niagara Falls on a tightrope (actually, a steel cable). This was a pretty impressive stunt. But what got me was during the walk he continually praised Jesus. After he finished he told a reporter that he has faith in God and blah blah blah...
I find this to be incredible given the fact that at least three of Nik Wallenda's relatives have died after falling off the high wire! (Another relative is paralyzed from a fall). And the relative who Wallenda dedicated this walk to (his grandfather, Karl Wallenda) was one of the people who died from a fall! Apparently, Jesus did nothing to protect these relatives, but Nik continues to sing his praises anyway! If you stood by and let my relatives fall to their deaths when you could have saved them.... I wouldn't be crowing about how great you are!
