Which implies that he isn't all powerful. If he can't help but exist and cannot leave existence, he's essentially.....trapped. He's got no choice but to exist, mind you this does explain why he'd create a universe. He's got to have something for entertainment, something to occupy himself.
It all makes sense now. Trapped in existence - in a place that's completely void and he's lonely. So he creates the universe and later creates us and to have us worship him and love him and be with him when our life expires. Makes complete sense.
