Why did u join atheist forum?

I used to be Christian and I hated god so much, I joined another atheist foun first few years ago hoping to change my beliefs
Now I did kinda, I like chatting here for like minded people
Seeig god get e-bashed
And cuz I lost all my friends irl.

Are most of y'all ex-Christians too?
Lot of y'all said u don't hate god or believe in him.

Also in my chrisitan forum there were lot of atheist that would come to debate, what is the point in debating xtians?? They just quote bible verses that they find on google while athiest say that's not evidence
Those threads go on forever and no one changes any belief
So what's the point in that?

There are a few folks on this site that make me think, a few more that turn a nice phrase, some funny ones and some very intelligent ones with quirky flaws. Why join? Not sure.

I was never debilitatingly Christian and shook off what little had attached to me at a young age so I'm not angry.

I notice you identify yourself as just agnostic. My agnosticism is as important to me as my atheism or perhaps more so. But I would always cop to both. I'm curious what sort of agnostic you are. Do you feel that knowledge of gods is in principle out of reach, or is that a personal confession of your own failure to find any? Hopefully you don't think of agnosticism as atheist-lite as too many seem to think. None of my business of course but now you have my curiousity pricked.
