This might work in a perfect world, but this world is far from perfect. People are not treated equal. Racism still exists and probably will exist for a long time to come. Affirmative action was put in place to help those that are being discriminated against. Right or wrong it's the way it is.

The good news is that probably will never happen. The majority of the population in the US is still white. More good news, your an atheist so you are in a minority.

Exactly. If a loved one of mine was killed by a terrorist, killing that terrorist or all that I see will not bring them back.
