@Kichi: I just wish she could have been portrayed by a Japanese woman instead of a Chinese..

I can't help it. I fell in love with Alistair in DAO

G'Kar and Londo Mollari are my absolute favorites from Babylon 5. I absolutely hated G'Kar in the beginning, but he really grew as a person during the series. Londo on the other hand became more loathsome, but they both were excellently written. Not to mention all the comic relief they provided

His Dark Materials is my favorite book series and Lee Scoresby was just so cool. His daemon Hester wasn't half bad either.

When I read through the Harry Potters as a kid, I just thought that Dumbledore was superübercool. When I reread them as an adult, I realized so much better what he actually was about and appreciated him as a person, not quite as indestructible as I perceived him as a child, but as a human with faults too. Though, still really awesome..

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
