So she sacrificed herself to save her son. How can you be angry? She may have died either way, but now she protected a new life. I think it is quite lovely: more than lovely, it is inspiring.

A mother's love is something very moving and beautiful for me. She bore that suffering out of love. If you want to credit that to her Christian faith, well then by all means.
