So she sacrificed herself to save her son. How can you be angry? She may have died either way, but now she protected a new life. I think it is quite lovely: more than lovely, it is inspiring.
Catholicism does allow indirect abortions, so she was not forced to do this. She went above and beyond so that way her child could have a chance at life and vowed to continue to pray for her children even in Heaven. A mother's love is something very moving and beautiful for me. She bore that suffering out of love. If you want to credit that to her Christian faith, well then by all means.

Mary Immaculate, star of the morning
Chosen before the creation began
Chosen to bring for your bridal adorning
Woe to the serpent and rescue to man.
Sinners, we honor your sinless perfection;
Fallen and weak, for your pity we plead;
Grand us the shield of your sovereign protection,
Measure your aid by the depth of our need.
Bend from your throne at the voice of our crying,
Bend to this earth which your footsteps have trod;
Stretch out your arms to us, living and dying,
Mary Immaculate, Mother of God.
