You know that after it wears off the same problem will be there, it will not have changed and actually grown worse because you do not deal with it. I know how you can find the relief you're looking for, I found it in my life and now do not have to look back.
I repeat; you must of done some seriously dark shit to want to believe what you do.
Forgiveness, redemption. They're just terms, they don't undo whats been done. Nothing does. You will probably carry the guilt with you to some extent for the rest of your life, thats a given. Its up to you how that guilt defines you and your actions. You can make it a tragedy that spurred you on to do benevolent and kind acts or you can make it pointless, a total waste of life and a lesson that has gone unheeded.
You know whether its the former or the latter and whether you're satisfied with it.
