He seemed to use "god" in a poetic sense rather than a word representing some being / consciousness / mystical force. I get the impression he saw great value in being reverent toward the universe - in feeling a sense of awe or wonder - and used "god" as the ultimate metaphor for this. Or maybe I'm just talking out my ass - I'm no Einstein. |
