First of all, eggs aren't chicken fetuses. They're just unfertilized chicken eggs. The trouble that vegans have with eggs is the fact that if a chicken can't lay any more of them, they get killed.
Second of all, I personally have never said dairy and eggs are too good to give up. I just said that the alternatives to them that I have tried suck. I'm not saying that I will never be a full vegan. I intend to be, it's just taking a while to get there that's all.
