"Jesus" is no savior for the Bible tells me so.

Isaiah 43:10-12
New International Version (NIV)

10 “You are my witnesses, ” declares the Lord,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
and apart from me there is no savior.

12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses, ” declares the Lord, “that I am God.

You've made an error in presenting God, in the verses above LORD should be in all caps, this shows us who is speaking. In these verses it is YHWH and this name includes the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. So Jesus is represented here as Savior.

cf Wrote:John 1:11-13
New International Version (NIV)

11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

John 1:1-13 These verses tell of Jesus as the Savior, in theses verses He is established as being with God from the beginning. Thy also establish Him as creator and the Light unto the world. John the Baptist came as a witness that He is the Savior. The verses you give tell of the spiritual rebirth of people who believe in Christ as their Savior.

cf Wrote:1 John 3:22-24
New International Version (NIV)

22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

Now, what was Jesus' name?

Yehoshua or Yehoshua: "the LORD(YHWH) is salvation," Moses' successor, also the name of a number of Isr.
Original Word: יְהוֹשׁ֫וּעַ
Transliteration: Yehoshua or Yehoshua
Phonetic Spelling: (yeh-ho-shoo'-ah)
Short Definition: Joshua

I'm not sure what you're try to get at here, I will say this, the name Joshua and Jesus were common names, so what's in these names not much by themselves, it is who is given the name, Jesus is called the Christ or Messiah meaning God with us, Savior, Redeemer...

cf Wrote:"YHWH is salvation".... Now that's a name I can believe in...

I agree since this name relates to the Triune God.

cf Wrote:And just to kick you while you're down...

John 5:42-44
New International Version (NIV)

42 but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

Again not sure what you'e try to say, Jesus establishes here He is the Son of God and that only through His name does salvation come. If you are trying to elude to the name God at the last of verse 44, that is referring to the Trinity. Funny how someone believes they have kicked another to the ground when by misinterpertation one missed with the kick.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
