Clearly I am better read up on history than you will ever be, since you can't seem to differentiate "famous (in your head" to "famous (its held in wide repute/infamy)".

I would hazard a guess that most of them simply start a new organization instead of knifing their fellows because they're not "pure" enough (ideologically, etc).
