To be fair to the latter, there some arguments to suggest that it's a mistranslation but this isn't certain. I also don't agree with the hadith that former Muslims should be killed. I'm not in favour of the Shariah Law because how can it be from God when it's mostly concluded and made up from scholars?Quote:Well I don't side with Sharia Law and Islamic teachings but I do believe it's the true religion.
What teachings? The Qur'an or Hadith? (or both) Or did you just pick the bits you like?
Do you proclaim the Shahada?
Do you accept the five pillars of Islam?
How did you conclude Islam is the true religion?
I'm just curious. I'm trying to understand if you are a sincere, thinking believer,or a credulous crackpot, as suggested by your post on the pre Columbian Americas.
Well for me, Islam is the most rational religion. It isn't confusing (like Hindusim, Christianity) and it's simple to understnad. Also in the past, Muslims haven't had problems with Evolution and other Scientific teachings like churches have had. I'm still searching the truth but I'm impressed with Islam the most.
