You can only meet people emotionally, but when it comes to discussing, even in a knock-down-drag-out (Remember 0.9999 != 1 debate? I do -- that was a nicer time when people were willing to argue to the bitter end!) argument about your core political beliefs, you simply dismiss them.
In other words, you can tell others what to do, but never need to re-evaluate your position.
It must feel good to know all the answers.
