While that may be true, we still haven't undone the policies initiated by Bush. In fact, most of those policies are being championed, or in some cases taken to an extreme, by today's GOP.

No, as disillusioned as I am with Obama and the Democrats, the idea of the Republicans in power, especially as crazy extreme as the Republican party has gotten, has me scared out of my mind. If, realistically, the vote came down to Obama vs. Jill Stein, I'd vote for Stein all the way. Thing is, it isn't down to them. Realistically, it's down to Obama and Romney and, yes, I'd much rather Obama win.
Quote:Again, it may come as a shock, but Bush isn't the president. Obama's the president....as far as which economy I prefer, I want the one Obama promised. The one he promised to deliver before the end of his 'first' term.
What if you had to choose the economy we had at the end of 8 years of Bill Clinton's presidency, or the economy we had at the end of 8 years of Bush's presidency, which one would you choose there? Remember when we were debating what to do with a budget surplus in 1999? Remember when Clinton was being criticized when gas prices went up to $1.30 a gallon? Do you remember what we were debating in 2008, after 8 years of Bush in office (most of that time congress just rubber stamping whatever he wanted)? We were talking about giant bail outs to the banking industry, massive budget deficits and a recession. That's a big change in 8 years, isn't it? And if the next Republican presidency will be anything like the last one, why on earth would anyone vote for him?
