RE: Crops for overwintering/late harvest

30's would be an issue, containers maybe? Haul em in at night, leave em under a really cheap a-frame during the day?
(Also, if it's tomatoes, I wouldn't even seed them till feb. Brass can carry you though those temps easy until then - oh..hey..try some specialty stuff, like tatsoi and other asian greens maybe?)

(the pictured examples are pathetic btw, they can be downright gorgeous, with 30 or 40 miniature stalks rising from a center crown)
