When I saw this thread I thought it was because you'd seen my pictures in Area 69. Now I've read the piece: agreeing to third-party marketing is so incredibly common it's almost part of the fabric of our online society. It's usually buried deep within the bowels of those Terms and Conditions that just about everyone scrolls past to get to the "I agree" button. However, while it may be a sneaky and underhand way of sending you advertising, based on the principle of how can it be spam, i.e. unsolicited material, if you've agreed to receive it, it's not really that big a problem for most people. If the worst comes to the worst you should have the option to opt out (that came out rather poetic, didn't it?
)

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
