Why is the system so people oriented?
It's not really a people system, actually it's not a system at all. God is the only way to salvation and He will come to you if you are willing, just remember God is omniscient and knows all your thoughts. If anyone is depending on a person for salvation, well they are starting off on the wrong foot. The church is the people of God, and He works through us to bring His good news to others, that is our primary purpose, it is God who redeems.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
