A woman can conceive at the wrong time and the fertilized egg doesn't implant in the uterus and gets passed as regular menstrual flow, is that abortion? No. But that is an interesting debate in and of itself, when does a fetus become a baby? at birth? when it could live on it's own? how many medical allowances? I believe the youngest gestational age for survival is around 24 weeks (out of a 40 week pregnancy)... but being born that early most who survive have serious, life-long medical issues, not to mention million dollar NICU bills. And a child is just a potential adult...whatever you choose to call it fetus, unborn baby, whatever, it is still a human, a very very young and vulnerable one. We all have a moral obligations to human life even in its earliest stages. Failures to implant occur naturally and are very different from actively removing an otherwise viable embryo. It's like comparing a heart attack to a gun shot wound.
The only contradiction is in the hearts of people who need to convince themselves that abortion is not evil so they can continue having guilt free sex and avoid any real responsibility for the consequences of their actions.
