But as they are interpreted: they can be judged as either bad or good, or even neutral. An action speaks rather loudly, and when it is recorded in words it is all the louder. Hades, Zeus, YWHW, etc. have all done horrible, evil things... and their good-evil ratio isnt so much in favor of the good. Therefore those deities can be considered bad.
