My fiance's grandmother (and father/uncles) are dealing with this. It even yellows the walls and stuff. I'm sure you'll need to you something with more heft to it than an over-the-counter cleaner.
This isn't meant to be cheeky, I just don't know what links are appropriate, but here is a link to a google search! I'm seeing vinegar and activated charcoal consistently. Also Febreeze, but I don't think that will be strong enough for you. Good luck to you.
