Damn... I love my chiropractor... But in fairness, I don't have a physical injury, just built up stress and tension, no tears or slipped disks or other such issues. I'd be willing to pay out of pocket for it though, but it's currently covered under my insurance plan.
I'm in an interesting spot when it comes to insurance. The insurance we get through my husband's employer is better than what is being mandated by Obamacare, and I'd guess it's probably better than what is available in the UK (we get to pick from a list of general care providers, have a $10 co-pay for them, but can go see any specialist we want, providing they are in-network, for $20 with no referrals required). I don't want to lose our options, but I'd rather have a system where every parent is able to take their children to see a doctor (not an ER) when they need it.
