How much more "supernatural" can you get than a dead jew coming back to life?
If you reject that particular piece of bullshit why even bother to call yourself a xtian?
The resurrection is a fable in the Christian culture. You don't have to believe it happened in order to practise the faith. My former Archbishop of York (the second highest in CoE hierarchy) denied even the existence of the historical Jesus. He denied more than the resurrection. Would you call him a non-Christian?? Surely not. Let's get real!!!!
Actually, yes. He's no more of a xtian than I am. Xtians certainly do not adhere to the alleged teachings of their godboy. In fact, in no other religion is there a wider gap between the observable way they act and the principles they profess to follow. If you then also subtract out the silly supernatural shit that they claim to believe, what's left? Or more to the point, why bother?
Once again, thanks for putting me in the position of having to agree with the crazies on the board. I really appreciate it.
