As afew people may know the noble red squirrel used to be a common sight in England until some Victorian fuckwits brought over the grey squirrel for novelties sake that would eventually decimate their population. Now the red squirrel is the novelty, ironic.
Just putting it out there.

Just to clarify: it's not that the Greys decimated the Reds, the Reds' habitats have been destroyed (in the name of development usually) and the Greys have been able to take advantage of the vacated niche. That said, the Reds have made something of a comeback in recent years I believe.
