Where the fuck did we say that the punishment had to be eked out. You said punishment is a secular thing, ignoring the supposed punishments in the Bible. You presumably believe in hell and that god can send people there. So, you tell me whether that is secular or not.

Implying that Christians beat their children and also implying weakly that it is a Christian thing to do so.
There is no logical fallacy in stating that there is an exception to a stereotype. If I say only Mexicans steal and someone contradicts that by, them doing so is not a logical fallacy. Nice try though.
The whole thread is about punishment in this world, not about spiritual punishment.
