No, I meant the cop-out was that this rule doesn't apply today.
Today it does not matter IMO, because of Christ's sacrifice for man kind all people have a chance to be part of God's people.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
