I spent a long time on TTA, in the company of GirlyMan. He really isn't as bad as you might be thinking. I suspect that the fact that there's a few people on here who already know him is removing the "build up" to his sense of humour. So you're getting the deep-end dive, rather than the slow wade-in from the shallow end.

He's a good person. Given the chance, a very likeable person, too... honest.
