I've actually heard that the same qualities it takes to be a high profile figure (like Ted Haggard or George Rekers) are the same qualities it takes to be a closeted homosexual. Psychological compartmentalizing, check. Ability to live a double life, check. Showing people what you want them to see instead of who you really are, check.
