That's quite a good way of reinforcing a lie. "You may call my beliefs stupid and me an idiot - that just proves I'm right!" Not exactly something of which a grown adult ought to be proud, really. Personally, if someone was making mock of my beliefs and values, I might be tempted to re-examine them; it might be me that's out of kilter with reality.
I have examined and re-examined them. It's kinda that human nature thing most people do at some point.
The issue with mockery has nothing to do with being right nor does it reinforce the position that I am right. I'm sure that Godschild and Lion know what I'm referring to though.
