Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Hubby is dressing up as Dr. Horrible (I made his costume, well, he made the ray gun), and I'm an autumn fairy, and our little one is a knight in shining armor. 
Lots of work went into all of those costumes.
Already went to a haunted house with the little one last Friday, she did great! She just loves being scared. Already got to wear our costumes on Saturday, as we went to a kid in her class's birthday/Halloween party, and that was tons of fun. Lots of games and food and candy already.
Today she's going on her first field trip (I'm terribly nervous), to a pumpkin patch. It's rainy and cold outside...fun. Well, she'll probably have fun anyway, lol. Tomorrow I have to make 2 dozen cookies for the class halloween party, and decorate them all with the little one, too. Oh, and we painted 4 pumpkins and carved 2 over the last week. And our house is decorated top to bottom. Mostly homemade decorations as well, lots of fun!!
Then on Halloween itself, she'll have her class party, then Grandpa comes to visit (as a pirate) and we all go Trick-or-treating at the mall, followed by going door to door to neighbors, weather permitting.
