What is it with humans that so many of them need a reason and a purpose to live? WHY?? It's such an idiotic concept. What is so god damn special about us that we require any more significance than any other living creature in the universe? I never understood this idea.
This is the part that most blows my mind ... I've often heard people say, "I wouldn't have a purpose without god," but when they talk about the life purpose that their god has set up for them, it's rather empty and useless. My fundy christard father says, our purpose is to love and serve his god.
THAT'S IT?!?!? THAT'S ALL THERE IS?!?!? How fucking useless is that?!
How the hell does that "purpose" give you any more peace of mind in your life than not having one.
"I serve jesus so that I can stroke gods ego for a hundred trillion years ... and than for another 100 trillion more ... and than another 100 trillion more ... and another and another and another."
No thanks, you can keep your precious "life purpose."
I'm simply going to do the best I can to enjoy my life and not waste time asking STUPID questions about ridiculous philosophical ideas that NEVER have objective answers.
By the way, WELCOME, glad you could be here
