I think what's most interesting here is that this portrayal of a liberal resonates sufficiently strongly with conservatives' experience to receive 6,000 up votes.
There's some serious cognitive bias effects going on there. And I think it may be more important to try to understand those effects than to simply dismiss the experiences and viewpoint as biased.
