Just finished watching this and quite frankly I found it a mixture of science and myth. Just what it is trying to say is unclear to me. I found some new information to follow up and some old information that has already been debunked.
So while you are all waiting to catch up with Australia {yep, we're still here} you might like to watch this 1:23:44 piece and perhaps give me your views

December Solstice occurs - 2012: 21 Dec 11:12 (UTC) which would be 19:12 (07:12 PM) for us here in Perth Western Australia

At least it also goes some way to answering my question... Has solstice always been on the 21st of Dec/ Jun? Or has human fucking around with calendars changed this?
