It hasn't necessarily always been or will be in that date range though as solstice are a result of axial tilt and wobble which are subject to some change.

So does this mean; that Mithras et al = solar deities where born 3 days after the solstice on Dec 25, implies that it is more regular for solstice to be on the 22nd?
