TEGH, Brian is a humorless curmudgeon that has also proven himself depraved of any sense for the ironic. In fact, I prognosticate that he'll be along shortly with another tirade consisting of a non judicial use of CAPITAL LETTERS and single sentence paragraphs. I'm sure his argument will be along the lines of 'how dare you make fun of the atrocity in CT?".
For the record, I understood your joke and laughed my ass off; somewhat like the scene where they defied gravity and laughed near the ceiling. Perhaps I put too much thought into it. Bert was the 'lead' chimney sweep and he was softer and more loving towards the children than Mary Poppins.
