The question is, why should we treat their claim differently to yours?

Because this particular christian has a shiny bible verse that absolves him of all annoying speech and even hateful actions. Mark 13:13 is a verse that justifies all manner of stupidity and socially unacceptable behavior. The Westboro Baptist people use it as one of their favorite mantras - which says a lot doesn't it?

Answer: I treat him the exact same as the serial killer who hears voices. Either a fool or a nut case. Either way, he has said nothing I haven't heard a thousand times before. Undecided
