Could have been the 90's, when we had unprecedented economic growth in spite of raising taxes on the wealthy. Or it could have been during the Bush administration when we realized how fucked up the country got when the Republicans got everything they wanted.

Actually raising taxes on the wealthy was really more of a Reagan thing than anything else in the last 30 years...aka the Alternative Minimum Tax. The unprecedented growth actually started six months to a year under Bush, but that also lead to the recession.

The GOP getting what it wanted leading to a fucked up America happened under the Democrats....I can let Clinton slide on it because the GOP were in control of Congress at the end, but Obama gets no quarter for allowing the Republicans to get away with almost everything they ever wanted.
