So by this logic, I suppose I was fated to flawlessly play Eye of the Tiger (Rock Band 2) just now ^_^ Skill and feeling good had nothing at all to do with it
Fallacious logic, even if you were "fated" or, IOW(?) if it was determined, that doesn't rule out Skill and feeling good. Skill and feeling good is a reality whether it is determined or indetermined.

I like this logic... I'm fated to be perfect And indeed I am ^_<
Who mentioned fate anyway? Fr0d0 made a strawman out of me by saying that I don't believe anything is a choice. That is incorrect. I believe that we make choices, of course - I just don't believe that they're "free".
And whether it was "Free" or not, was not even mentioned until I mentioned it to provide clarify that I do believe we make choices (it's just that they're not free).
Fate wasn't mentioned, there's a difference between choice and Free Choice, and if something is fated that's got nothing to do with the matter of the existence of skill and feeling good, etc, etc.
It was a joke about determinism... it wasn't meant in the slightest to be taken seriously However (From this point on is almost completely satirical...), assuming that response to stimulus is determined, then it is possible to state that being A will respond in way B to stimulus C creating new situation D which will logically lead to E because of A-B-C in D, which will lead to F, and eventually to Z.
Therefore, Z can be predicted perfectly by looking at A... which would occur because there could be no other possibility in the system than one. Which is akin to
dictionary Wrote:fate |fāt|Because it is both beyond one's control, and can be determined to happen in only one way.
noun
1 the development of events beyond a person's control, regarded as determined by a supernatural power
Therefore I am at point F, and had no control over occurrences A-B-C-D-E... therefore my apparent murder of your grandmother was completely beyond my control, was 'fated' to happen (It was, after-all... the only thing that could happen)... and therefore I need not be punished in any way at all unless I was fated to be... as you could have only one possible response to my killing of your grandmother (which I am not to be held accountable for because it was fated to happen)... and therefore you cannot claim my responsibility for the murder of your grandmother, which was fated to happen... and therefore you must release me because I was simply following the determined path.

Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
