He might have you there Ryan, he might point to Revelation 6 where the stars fall from the heavens and people have to hide in caves to keep from being hit. The sun turns black and the "light" of the moon turns red.
Ask any learned astronomer about this and he won't have an answer! (He'll be laughing too hard to talk!)
The only thing more intellectually dishonest than using the Bible as proof of God is by citing events in the Bible which haven't happened yet as proof of God.
Which means he might indeed try it.
