What scholars can say about the John of Revelation is that he was a significant figure in the early church in the Roman province of Asia Minor (modern day Turkey).

What an awesome article that was. My favourite part was the bit about 666/616 translating to Nero and Caligula respectively. It's a bit harsh to call them Beasts though *tut tut*.
