The Bible is true because it is the Word of our Lord.
I don't belong to any denomination. My denomination is Jesus Christ.

You said your Church went on a retreat in July. What do you call your Church? Is it just The Church or is it something like The Church of whatever you all call it?

Have you always been a member of this Church because your parents were in it or did you find it yourself? Do you think of yourself as a born again Christian?

Sorry for all these questions. I'm asking them because it's impossible to keep track over over 30,000 different versions of Christianity when these versions teach different things.

General cry for help - is there anything to click on which will take me to the first unread post in a topic? I'm still finding my way around.

If you're interested in how Christians choose affiliations and how often they change them, I'd recommend the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life's U.S. Religious Landscape survey, and particularly chapter 2, which deals with changes in religious affiliation.

Also from Pew, you might be interested in their 2010 Global Religious Landscape survey. And you might be interested in the website which contains a wealth of information on multiple faiths.
