A billion people in relatively close proximity, most of them in poverty... relatively nearby to another billion people, many of whom are also in poverty... and another few hundred million people clumped together in asia, a good number of them living in poverty...Nope, I don't see how rape statistics of these places are related. India in particular has a number of factors going on right now that make it significant... dealing with the symptoms in blind outrage is going to do fuck all for solving India's many problems.
