I suppose it's a freewill issue, like you can sin in heaven but you wouldn't particularly want to because you will be full of the Holy Spirit. But the moment you do you're out, so it's all taken care of. Though perhaps humans would be allowed to sin to some degree and stay in heaven because they have had Jesus die for their sins so they won't have to be flawless if you want a full on Christian explanation. Satan being an angel won't have been covered.
