I would love to agree with you, that theists are mental. But most of them are not, despite believing in a higher power. Most people just live life, and it's not mental to make your choices based your own version of morality. It is mental, however, to say that god told you so or to claim to speak for god. And it's mental to impose your morality on someone else.
My point was that theism contributes to mental illness and not in a good way. Could you look into your sane aunt's eyes and say that she's mental for believing in god? Would you?

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
